If someone wants to drive my car I've said, you break it? You own it. And the driver was more experienced than me. So don't be so quick to judge.
Those badlanzhpe.com cutoffs are farken awesome. :)

Love the sound of the cut offs Pete. Car looks good and sounds great....just trying to figure out which Streets dairy that was you passed. I work closely with Streets in South Canterbury and know the local rep in Christchurch well:D

    Not a lot really.
Had the rear end lowered by just over an inch and the rear guards rolled.
It was on the dyno last weekend. Wasn't happy with the results to be fair. About 280kW at the tread. So in the first week of January I'm getting a different cam installed along with another tune. I'd like it to be closer to the 500rwhp mark. 380 is too far off for what I got and I'm not into supercharging it. This way I get more bang for my buck.
I'll throw up a couple of pix.

380rwkw in a N/A setup, can't see you gaining another 100rwkw with a cam change.

Pretty sure I said 280kW at the tread (380HP).
I'm after around 335kW at the tread (450HP).

    :(

The blue line is a run with the headers open. Only a 10kW gain in the mid range.

I know of a n/a Maloo here in Christchurch that's getting 380kW at the tread. (just over 500HP) But he did it just to prove to people it could be done. He's like me, into naturally aspirated power plants. ;)

    You said 500rwhp, not 450.
Didn't say you can't get 500rwhp N/A, will just be a mega pig of a car.

Some say it is already. :)
It's not a daily driver anymore. I have a VX Landcruiser for that.
I hear what you're saying though about it being a pig to drive. But to be honest, coz it's just a toy, I'm good with that.

Here's the last dyno run on headers.

Fingers crossed for the 6th of Jan. 335kW at the tread.

I'm liking how it's looking at least these days.
