my VX V6 doesn't have plug heat shields...

my VX V6 doesn't have plug heat shields... when i bought it a few months ago i didnt even know what spark plug heat sheilds was.... engine runs fine... should i fit plug shields ?? :confused:

Do fit heat plug shields as the leads run very close to the stock headers as the heat that comes from them is very hot and could cause problems later on

There probably wont be any need. Yes, non heat shield ones are cheaper to buy but are the same lead when cut open. The motor in basic terms is not THAT different to a vn-vr motor. My vn runs non-heatsheild versions (though i can buy them if i whish to) and i havent had a problem with them at all. I wouldnt change them unless they stuff up (common sense), and then you can make the decision on what to get as a replacement.....
