Hey mate, what's the inside like? It's a R8 yeah?

If you are thinking you want to be really loud then you can buy my 3" X force stainless steel cat back (too loud for me), it will be a cheap option - buying 2nd hand. Oh hang on, you're in QLD. Prob not the best option then!

Yeah chuck up some interior pics :)

Oh and btw i would have loved a Clubbie at 19!!!!!

I heard recently that they're changing or have changed the law to not ban certain engines but base it on power/weight ratio again

Pretty sure thats only with turbo/super vehicles. Under 130kw per tonne.

Still not allowed 8 or more cylinders :(

ye looks awesome. my brother also had a silver clubbie at 19 xD. how do you bypass the restriction laws?

Yeah how did you do it?

Sadly its not actually R8 :(. Interior is basically stock minus the boot which obviously had a the subs and amps. but I'll try and get some pics up when I get some time. I love Silver clubbys and i'm in Rockhampton QLD and this clubby is the only silver one in town. Bulk black ones.
Hmm well about the whole laws thing... Its not my daily.. yet. haha. I basically drive it on weekends and special events and I'm bloody careful to not create to much attention and of course avoid any accidents since I'm sure my insurance wouldn't cover it. I drive a VR commodore (bita work done to it ;). Link at the bottom) as my daily and my Hilux 4x4 on the side. Get my opens in a few months which i will try and sell the VR just before. Basically bought this clubby off a mate that needed to sell it asap and couldn't wait the few months so I got in and bought it. A work mate and I looked after the car before it became mine and when he said he was selling it I jumped at it. Just a little risky when i drive it. I attempted to get a Exception through work (I'm an apprentice mechanic and test drive v8s/ turbo cars all the time) but they declined it possibly due to the clubby being in my name and them not being "that" stupid. Heaps of my mates have exceptions but they work at dealerships which i assume must be easier to get. I give it a run around the back streets of home and wash it almost every week so it doesn't get neglected. Cops tend to leave the tidy cars alone here and pick on the feral bombs with unpainted body kits and random coloured panels, 4wds and of course the P paters (which i don't display).

Had to change the Passenger Side Rear Wheel stud. First time I've really had to jack the clubby up enough to get the wheels off other than on a hoist.
Took a bit of maneuvering. Low profile jack wasn't low enough so I just did the general drive it up on blocks and jack.. the jack still didn't wanna get it off the ground so I got another jack out of my hilux and go it off the ground :D. New Stud in easy as.

Shifter should be here this week hopefully! KEEEEEEN AS! Taking it to the track this friday also. Going to try and get before and after mods times. Not too sure what to expect. Low 14's? high 13's? hopefully around there. Pics/ Vids and times will be posted after. (If I even get to go..)
