I changed my oil when i did my clutch but just put Mobil ATF in it and i think that was a bit of a mistake but i am putting over 450kw through it So guess it can only take so much. I Put the shifter in at about 100km and now its done 120km. But like the other post said my mates got a vy clubby with 400rwhp and 200000km on it and gearbox it fine. Would like to no if anyone can build the T56 any better?

Mine is quite notchy at times and when it's cold wont go into gear at all. Gunna change the oil and hope that makes abit of a difference.

So last weekend a mate and I put the shifter and full Exhaust on at work. I'm in love with the Exhaust holy crap it sounds so much tougher. The shifter is great but we made a minor mistake. We need to adjust it but only realized after we put it all back together haha..
We locked up the shed, took off for a test drive and couldn't get 2nd gear. all the other gears are great and it feels like it goes in soo good. but it was late in the afternoon and we were all hungry so we ended up deciding we'd fix it next week and drive home 1st to 3rd and skip 2nd :p. I only live 5 minutes away from work anyway.

I got 23 days (3 weeks and 2 days) til I can drive it legally. Soooooo keen. been a long 8 months wait.. (Major tease letting my mate drive it home with me following in my hilux... But it love watching it drive I'll admit. Puts a massive grin on my face when I see it coming at me down the street.

We had dramas with the headers, the factory headers inner bolts had snapped off BOTH sides :S. I have no idea at all how since its the standard HSV headers but somehow they were snapped. We tried getting easy outs in there but they were too tight so we ended up drilling out the holes and putting a new thread with a heli coil. Worked a charm but took up some time through the day.
We ended up dropping the rack and taking the Driver side tie rod end off to get the driver side extractor in. bit of a pain having to stuff around with the rack pressure lines etc but made the job 10 times easier. Just thankful we could use the hoist.

[II ended up getting Full Xforce.[/I] 4 into 1 1¾” (1.75”) Headers - 3” Hi Flow Cats - Twin 3” cat Back. Basically because the car is so low I hit up some exhaust shops in my city and we couldn't get it on there hoists... I know right.. the places that could I really didn't want my car going anywhere near.. sooo I sacrificed the Pacemakers for Xforce and convenience. It all basically bolted straight up 100% didn't have to modify a single thing. Everything flowed and mounted perfect. I bought the cats and Cat back before I really did enough research into having to modify the cats to make them fit to the pacemakers. Plus the Xforce was noticeably cheaper.

Anyways here's some pictures of it getting its shifter and exhaust etc.

That X merge looks like it is a huge restriction. Less diameter than a single pipe?

I thought the exact same thing when I got it home and took the wrapping off.. but i've been told by multiple exhaust and performance shops its one of the best exhausts to run for sound, performance and the Cam I plan on getting. The other option was Di Filippo but it was just too pricy for me to afford. I didn't look but I'm pretty sure they made it open in the center so it is more like a single 4-5" then back to the single 3" pipes. Strange but oh well I guess it works.
