do you drive of dirt or stoned roads? if not lose the mudflaps! lol

No engine plans? not even a little exhaust tune and CAI, just for shits and giggles?

lol, mudflaps are gone due to popular demand! rear mudflaps have been cut shorter so the bumper still has protection from tar and stones etc...nothing worse than getting wet tar on ur paint.

BANKS, u hav obviously had ur LS1 tuned..wat were the power results and how much approx??

Nope not yet but i've researched it to all ****... most untuned LS1's put out around the 185-195rwkw range, after a tune, full exhaust and CAI most hit around the 225-235rwkw range. All pending on the age of the engine and its life at the time of the tune aswell as the dyno! Completely different cars thou, been in an untuned LS1 then the same one with all the mentioned mods, Drived completely different! Just remember its only a number, its how its drives that makes the difference and what it lays down the quarter, thats the real number ;)

haha true true! it's not alot of rwkw stock is it..i searched a couple on youtube (STOCK VZ SS apparently) and they pulled about 208rwkw..but you know more than me i havent researched it apart from that.

Would be nice to get the mods u have mentioned done this year if i save properly.

Here are sum update pics fresh from tonite after i used a clay bar and detailer on car...
I love the colour it comes out as in certain light!!

Also there are 2 pics of the shorter gear stick shifter i put in last week...Is alot shorter than it looks i think..Cheers.

update - fitted growler induction on friday, had it dyno tuned on saturday. did 205rwkw before hand and now has 242.4rwkw. sunday i resprayed ss rims i a shadow grey and also sprayed brake calipers and hubs in red. monday (this arvo) i sprayed the engine covers in the same grey as wheels and went over the writing in the ss red toush up paint...

i think it's all an improvement and she now looks and performs really nice!! :) anyways, here are sum pics!!

cheers man, I'm pretty happy with where it is now. stands out a little bit..

my fuel average since tune has improved from a daily 11 L/100 to 9.5 L/100.

it's been in the 9's for nearly a week now driving to and from nth sydney everyday!! stoked

Man it's looking nice. Did the growler kit really add that much power. On my VT wagon I did see a great fuel saving but those figures are pretty amazing.

Damn thats pretty good for a V8 for city driving! Mine sits at around 10-10.5. probably go down once i get mine tuned too.
