Good resale value simply means that you paid too much for it to begin with.

WTF???? That makes no sense what so ever. Resale value is nothing more than a reflection of supply/demand of an item on the second hand market. If you apply it as a ratio to purchase price then the less you paid originally vs how much you get for it now will return a better value.

You don't buy a commodore to sell, you buy them to last you 20+ years

The OP came here in July to slam the dealer because on delivery he had no car mats or a tank of petrol. As Sab said, he paid too much anyway and from memory the OP said he never bothered shopping around, just saw the car advertised and drove to Adelaide and bought it. What's that about a fool and his money? Then when he was challenged by members in the forum as Sab said, he started PM'ing people having a massive cry and threatening legal action as he claims he was a Cop lol.

He will buy the SUV then join an SUV forum bitching about the SUV and the Dealership he bought it from.

Why would this guy and his Wife have problems getting in and out of a VE? Are they disabled perhaps? A test drive before purchase would have shown them that.

Guess I could bitch on too about how I purchased a new VE in 2009 and what I MAY get for it now. But why would I. Any reasonable person understands dropping dollars on new cars is the name of the game, surely????
