Hey guys,

One of my rear wheels copped some curb rash on a gutter the other day and was thinking about swapping that wheel for the full size spare in the boot, but was wanting to clarify on sizing for the wheels.

My understanding is the spare is the correct size for the fronts only, with the tyre being the 245 and wheel being 19x9.

Is this correct? I have seen conflicting reports saying that front wheel is 19x8.5, same as the rear, but I thought that the front wheel needed to be wider for the bigger brembo's up front.

Tried a myriad of searches but can't get a definitive answer.

Thanks in advance.

Spare is exactly the same size as the front. You won't want to keep it on the rear for any length of time.

Thought so. So the front wheel is 19x9 and the rear is 19x8.5 right?

Other way around. Fronts are 19x8.5 (245/40) and Rears 19x9 (275/35) for VF Redline.

Fronts are 8.5", staggered rears are 9.0".

For genF hsv owners, a spare wheel was an extra cost right? Or only the versions with the bigger rear diff.
