After looking at too many VFs with black 20s, yours look massive in comparison.

Yea I think the ride height has a bit to do with it as well mate. As soon as I seen these wheels on the black Audi on the Vossen site, (photo At the start of this thread) I knew the silver was a winner.

Yea that will look good mate. Look forward to seeing it a bit closer to the earth on some different rims. Not sure what Holden were thinking with those 18's. They may be the ugliest things they've ever brought out. Few tweaks and she be looking slick!

Has anyone flicked through this months Street Commodores? Pretty cool to have this photo in the home brewed section. Nothing new with the car lately. Recently got married and I have been working away for a long time now, so it spends most of the time locked away and under a cover. I have only done 7000kms coming up to a year of owning it. But I still love the car and can't wait to do some engine mods when I get the time.

Congratulations for getting the photo in the SC Magazine, your car really does look stunning.

A question if I may, do you happen to know what the front and rear measurements are from the centre of the hubs to the guard lips on your car?

    Cheers,

Cheers mate, just had a quick measure and it's about 345mm front, 330mm rear.

Thanks I really appreciate that as I'm using photos of your ride height to dial mine in.

Have you got 4 into 1's under it or are you still on the OEM engine pipes?

No worries. Yea it's got HSV headers an cats. But eventually I will be getting a set of these from sureflo or these from GM Motorsport. Both sit at the factory height, the sureflo cats are offset and actually sit slightly higher than stock. I'm leaning towards the GM ones as the pipes are all equal length.

Not sure where to post these so just chucking them in here. Here are a few photos of my mates HQ and Monaro that we used in my wedding recently back home in NZ. The HG was brought pretty much as is, I'm not a huge fan of the rims but it's still a nice car. The HQ my good mate has had since he was 16 and it has gone through a few stages before its ground up rebuild, it has an injected 305 Camaro motor in it, good cruiser.

And this one just because it's one of my favourite photos from the day I married my best mate.

Oh you work there mate? Yea had it in for its 15000km service, but it's only done 8000km lol. I've had pretty good service there so far, are you in the workshop? Yea I love the brakes! Get a set mate, they are pretty cheap for what they are. In saying that though they are probably not worth the upgrade over what you already have, apart from the aesthetics of them.

Do you ever hit up SNL or the Peninsula link meets? I might giver the car a good wash tomorrow and head to one or both of them if the weathers good.
