I think if you really like LMF, you'll kick yourself later for going conservative. Personally, I think they're both awesome colours. So you can't go wrong. Big help I am ;)

I spoke with my dealer again last night and asked about the production line photos, was told they hadn't heard of them being a thing and will look into it. Will be interesting to see the reply.

Thanks champ, and yeah, no worries. I think that it should be less obvious with the armour being black and the darker car being a less contrasting color. But I'll certainly drop some pics so you can see.

Congrats on the new arrival. Looks looks awesome, and having ordered the same colour myself, makes me even more impatient.

    Tomorrow the day?

Definitely is a hard choice LCFC, one I also faced as I too tossed up between these two colours. In the end what did it for me was the blackout treatment works well on LMF but to my eye not so much on SOAG, so I went with LMF and now it's arrived I just love it. Whichever way you go you'll love it as you'll be driving the best Commodore V8 ever. Here's a pic of my baby.

Agree either colour looks great, and at the end of the day, comes down to personal preference.

After initially disliking spitfire green when I saw it as a test colour 18 months or so ago, it has really grown on me. So much so that it was a really tough choice between it and LMF. At the end of the day I went LMF because I think in the long run I will be happier with it, and it is also a close match for my monaro!

I've been trying to chase down production line photos of my redline as well, but Holden have told me to go back to my dealership, and my dealership is being next to useless unfortunately...

IMG_2403.JPG Popped into Holden today just to see if they had a redline is SOAG (second thoughts maybe) and fortunate for me they had every color there other then black. Love the white but too many of them, red is hot but I've had too many red cars apparently, wife didn't like LMF and the 5 year old said the blue was purple so SOAG it is. This was getting prepped for the showroom floor. Happy with the choice now. And the color match on the bar was spot on!

Great choice with the LMF and that's a beautiful Monaro you have there too.

In regards to the production line pics, somebody mentioned a few pages back that Holden are looking at setting up a website where owners can log in and download their pics, so you still might have a chance if you're having no luck with your dealer.

Staggered 20" wheels, pollen filter, tinting, tow package (with hitch cover), wing spoiler, sports mats and Redline sill plates. Think that's about it!

Ok other then the tow package we pretty much ordered the same car, haha, although I'm getting it lowered through the dealer. Now I actually can't wait to see how your beast looks. All the best for tomorrow and enjoy the experience. Cheers

I was in exactly the same position where I was tossing up between LMF and SOAG as well as Red Hot. At the end of the day I went with SOAG as it adds a further element of "sleeper" to already "low-key" wagon. A few times whether it be at the lights or at a double lane round about, I have taken off (under 3000rpm) and the sound of it is enough for the driver/passengers of the car next to me to do have a second look. Not to mention compliments from workmates either car people or not.

To be completely honest, you will not be disappointed with either colour. So pick the colour where you heart lies and middle fingers in the air to those who object.

So my dealer fits Walkinshaw and is doing me a favour and delivering the car to them to do the springs before I pick it up. I basically don't want to do any mods to the car once I take delivery.... it's costing about 800
