Hey guys.

In the course of the last 6 months since owning the car, I've had multiple phones paired to MyLink.

Now the device list is full with 5 listings.

I can't delete any device individually to add my latest phone :(.
It just freezes.

I've tried whilst the car is stationary, and while moving etc no luck.

The obvious resolution is to take it back to the dealer, which i will for the next service, thanks.

I just Googled your question out of interest ... the answer might be to keep trying.
Found a Whirlpool thread where someone with a rental complained of the same thing, posted a question, didn't get an answer, then tried the next morning & it just worked.

go to config Bluetooth device list then select the one you want to delete the it gives you the option to delete the device, done it with 2 different cars now

I have seen it with a few VFs that when the MyLink is hot (i.e. been out in the sun or driving for an hour or two) functions like deleting a bluetooth device pair seem to freeze (yet some other things like changing a setting in the Vehicle settings menu will appear to work fine). I had it again friday when I was picking up an NT Fleet car to transfer it to NSW. Same deal. It had sat in the car park waiting for me to move it for about 15 mins and when I went to remove the details of the (now unemployed) ex chief minister's phone from the MyLink menu it kept locking up until later in the day when it had been undercover and cooled down a bit (his phone was in there 5 times ffs - did he pair his device every bloody time he got in the car or what?)

Here is the answer that I got off the Whirlpool Forum today and I just used it on my Caprice V WN 2015 that I picked up yesterday with a stubborn list of phones that would not delete..
It's called the Drivers Door Open MyLink reset
As the Forum member said - It Sounds really stupid, but guess what - it actually works! - even on a stinking hot day, so temperature does not seem to come into it, as other links may suggest.
Enjoy your new empty device list! - Regards, Rob
It works like this
1. Drive car
2. Park
3. Turn off engine
4. Open drivers Door to FULLY open
5. Exit car. And take key with you. This is important even assuming it's the wireless proximity key and you use a start button instead of traditional ignition.
6. Leave Door fully open for at least 5 mins with key out of car (I left mine for 10 mins just to be sure - Rob)
7. Return to Car. Start engine. Go into my link settings and delete old users as you would expect.

Worked perfect for me just a few minutes ago. On a car that was refusing otherwise to allow deletions of old phones.
