Mystery Object ??????

    Does anyone out there know what this is????
    I found it underneath the battery in the battery tray of my 97 VT SS.

    I've never seen one before, I doubt that it is a part from the car but I could be wrong.

    I seem to remember seeing one on my wrx and am pretty sure it was attached to the alternator area. I am racking my brains trying to remember the purpose of it. I will remember soon....!

    Edit, now i think about it I definitely had one attached to a bolt that holds the rocker covers on my VR Ute. Is your SS a 304? I don't recall finding a purpose for it so I removed it. From memory it was just above the second cylinder (from bottom) on the left bank.

    Damn I hate not being able to remember ****. It's definitely from a car though

    It looks a bit like one of the brackets that your spark plug lead separators clip onto.

    ^^ Yep, that's what it is. The F says it's the front one. They bolt onto the rocker cover bolts.
