Hey chaps.
On my VE SS with L98 v8 I’ve had a mystery oil in exhaust making copious amount of smoke. Now it’s done so 3x each on a second drive after a very short drive at cold start. Once the smoke clears it drives perfectly.

There is no change to oil pressure when this occurs. Checked all spark plugs and there is no offending cylinder or anything obvious. Smoke is equal on both exhaust sides.

If anything it seems electronic like a PCV valve blocked or closed but I’m only guessing.

The oil is significant to dirty both exhaust pipes and nice big clouds of smoke then it goes away as quickly as it comes.

I’m using 5w30 Penrite synthetic. Engine had done just over 210000km.

I was thinking valve stem seals.
First start for the day & it will blow white smoke. Then quickly burns of.

Over night because the valve stem seals are not sealing the oil will leak down onto piston.
When you start first time for day, it will blow the smoke.
If on both sides, that would mean both banks are leaking, so l'm probably wrong?
