    Does anyone know what this plug next to the right hand strut tower is for
    heres a pic

    might be, ive got it but its not genuine

    If you mean the cable in the pix isn't genuine then maybe its a connector for electric caravan brakes or a ALDL port or similar to plug a scan tool into for tuning etc.
    If you mean your cruisecontrol isn't genuine then your CC would use its own wiring for operation and wouldn't need to plug into the factory plug.
    I'd check mine but we've had over 400mm of rain in the last few days and car is sitting in water.

    I found the same plug and its got to be for cruise control which I ain't got.
