Mystery wire on ve sv6 sportswagon right pillar

Hi all i bought a ve sv6 sportswagon acouple of months ago and noticed on the left had side of pillar along windscreen there's a wire tucked along the side. It doesn't look stock would anyone know what it could be?

Or could have been for a dash cam . Have you traced the wire to see where it goes ?

I want to pop the plastic off but abit nervous as the airbag is behind it.

That is where the sat nav wire is installed.

The airbag is not behind it. If you are concerned, disconnect the battery negative terminal. Pull the airbag fuse.

To remove the trim, pop off the cover that says airbag. Then undo the screw and the trim unclips with some effort. You might have to remove the side trim first. Can’t recall.

My ve sv6 sportswagon didn't come with satnav must of been an option and wire must of popped out. I was hoping it was a dashcam wire as i wanted to use it so i dont have to have wires hanging fron glovebox aux.

Did abit more investigation today found out headliner has two holes behind rear view mirror so must have been for a dash cam
