As most of you know, the VR was written off so I used the insurance money to by this car. It was a trade-in at work so picked it up for a good price with only 168xxxkm. One owner before me for its lifetime (18 years) so was well looked after. Has a few minor scratches, but overall I like it.

Not looking to spend much money, just looking to get it running 100% and as fuel efficient as possible. Will sell it in a years time to make way for either an SS or xr6t.

7m represent!

have the headbolts been retorqed?

the 7m had a big design flaw, almost all factory headgaskets fail. toyota swapped the headgasket material at the last minute and didnt revise the torque setting. ive got a picture of what happens.
its a good preventative step to retorque the headbolts up to about 70-75ft/lb should elimate any future issues :)

clean looking car tho mate! should drop a 7m-GTE in it, alot more fun than n/a

i always said if i bend my supra ill put my motor in a cressida (ultimate sleeper)

Yeah they are a really good car. Great value for what factory features you get and really comfy to drive. Not really down on the power either. Just a bit sluggish compared to the old VR off the mark.

Got tint done today, very pleased with it. Decided with 15%. Can only just see in, and if I have any trouble, i can just pop the sunroof to let more light in ;)
Next will be a speak upgrade, and if funds permit, just some cheapish king springs to lower her a tad.
