I have a vx with a v6 and my fuel system is nothing but trouble. When i drive it will drop revs then i hear a small bang then it shuts down. When i try get it going again i cant hear the pump priming then after 5 or so goes the pump comes on then i have to let it prime for about 10 mins then i can go. I have had the pump and filter replaced and it keeps playing up. I just want to know of a decent pump and pressure regulator dont need it for 1000hp+ just a stock motor with some mods coming in the next few months. Thanks for any help.
If you have already replaced the pump and filter it must be some thing else thats causing ur problem. Have you cleaned ur injectors?
I put some cleaner through the system but my real problem is the pump just stops working or doesn't start when I start the car and I think the pressure regulator is dying.
