Hey guys,

Just in the middle of installing a CAI on my VZ. Have to remove the torx head bolts that secure the filter box but the buggers are stuck fast! Any suggestions?

Dont have to remove the bolts at all
just give it a tug and it'll come out - those bolts only act as a holder for the rubber grommets. Just pull the airbox straight up out of the bay and it should come out

when you say you got the airbox out do you mean the top half and the bottom half?

There should be three bolts holding the main section of the airbox down - these will be the colour of your chasis and they are the star pattern. If they are the three you are trying to undo then you don't need to. Just pull the airbox up, it may need a bit of force but it'll work

Both, but after several hours of alternate heat and WD40 I've finally got the bolts out. Can't believe how tightly they were in. Thanks for your help anyway.
