im not one hundred percent but it should be held on by clips if you have a trim removal tool ya should be sweet failing that a small flat blade screw driver under it should work as well but be carefull

    The bottom or top piece?

Top piece: remove the door rubbers and the seatbelt upper, and it should just come off.
Bottom piece: remove the door rubbers and the seatbelt lower mount. And anything else infront of it :p

Oh the black one? I'm pretty sure you have to drill out the rivets.

theyre push pins at the bottom, get a small screwdriver and push in the center. the pins will most likely drop down to oblivion. then i cant remember whats behind that, clips that either slide or pull out.

    so i found out...
which leads me to my next question..
is it hard to find and replace the clips that hold em on?
or am i better off just taking it into a body shop??

I'm very interested in this as well! Can you salvage the push pins or is it a silicon job after lol.

just goto autobarn or (insert favourite auto store here) and buy some new ones. take the old clip(minus lost center pin) and find one that matches.
