Need help asap cleaned tb and sensors now ive only got 1st and 2nd

    Hey guys and gals as title says i pulled my throttle body and the sensors and at first it coughed and spluttered, Now it tries to die at first taking off but picks up and its only got 1st and 2nd,, first revs to 3000 before changing, goes into second and revs till 3 and wont go any further, and to get it to pick up speed u put foot down on the accelerator it will free rev till 2500 then tries to build speed any help please.

    Did you reconnect the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) properly?

    You probably lost the plastic clip thingo that goes between the TPS and the TB....or forgot to reinstal it. You ain't the first!

    is that the blue spring looking thing or sumin else if so i prob lost it anyone got a pic of it

    hako is on to it. under the TPS (the flatter plastic sensor) there is a tiny plastic cap that goes on the tip of the tb shaft. that HAS to be in place of else the computer will get all confused and chuck a hissy fit.

    Pays to remember to put everything back exactly the way it came off

    it must of come off then i didnt see it come off but when i tried to put it back on it clicked is that bad and are vs ones the same
