Need Help Entering PIN into Eurovox H/U (VX Calais)

I've had my Eurovox Headunit (standard issue VX Calais) out for a few days now and I put it back in this arvo.
Now, when I turned on the car, the displayed showed 1. I thought weird but okay and entered the first digit of the pin (6) and a big 6 appeared next to the one. After pressing a couple of buttons on my headunit, the 1 and 6 disappeared and then a 2 came up. I pressed the next number of the pin (6) and a big 6 appeared. I'm trying to get to the 3 but I can't.
Any advice?

Might be the buttons playing up perhaps? try pressing a bit harder, i know some of my buttons are bodgey
