easily especially being live axle, a 19x8.5 45P will fit with any hassles.

Lets not forget that this has been done before alot of times. Would be helpful they if you told us the wheels your wanting to fit and spec ie offset

i have 19's on my VN and as far as i'm aware you can only run 235/35/19 on the front without spacers. 245/35/19 are a little taller and will rub on the spring seat or if not be so close they will while driving. I have seen pics of people massaging some extra clearance on the spring seat with a hammer to make the 245's fit but again they are 245/35 not 245/45 which your asking about.

245/45 (dia 27.7") are nearly 2 inches taller than 245/35 (dia 25.8") and you have no chance of getting them on the front i don't think. The 8.5s will fit with correct offset.

I've got 17" on my VP and I can't go any wider than 235 because they scrape, might give you a rough idea mate.

I'm Tassie too, good bloke

what wheels/offset?
I was running 255/40/17 all round without scrub. The left rear would occasionally rub the inside but i only knew when i removed the rear wheels and saw the scuff

Mine are 17x8 CSA Edges, I've got a VP ute but I doubt there'd be too much difference. + mine is lowered a bit too so that might be why.

there's always heaps of room in the rear, it's the front that gives problems due to the spring seat so lowering makes no difference to fitting them, just how the tyres interact with the guards on the front. mine has super lows.
