What's happened to the existing Fuel Pump it ?
Normally it a submerged type in the tank.
Can you ad lib a bit on the subject ?
Where others maybe be able to provide advice with their thoughts.

you can wire it in but you will find that the car wont run properly and find its getting too much air if you do install a ecotec one. You will need the l67 fuel pump as it flows more than the standard one even if you are using l67 injectors it still wont be rite untill you put another l67 pump back in. I have had experience with this when i turned a l36ecotec into a l67 s/c
