Need help with car audio wiring colours

My son is trying to install a CD player in his VH commodore but needs help with the wiring colours and any other tips you have. Have printed for him the other installing a stero into a VN helper and 9 other tips.

if he hasnt chopped any wires yet, what i did is went to repco and found a wire loom that plugs in, then found one which fitted the head unit, i hacked up my last wires and it took an hour or two, this took 1 minute if that. just a suggestion

better off putting all new speaker wires in for better sound quality

sorry forgot to add, best to just find the power wires with a test light and run new cable for the rest
