need help with dash cluster

    hi all

    i have just swaped a vr berlina dash with a calais dash in my berlina

    the berlina has trip com and climate con and all the rest but when i installed the calais dash cluster i lost the trip computer the tail lights dash lights the climate con fan stays on even with the climate con swithched off

    i want to know is there a difference from berlina to calais and if so can i fix it

    The berlina and Calais cluster should be the same. Check the No1 fuse.

    Also check connector 3 is not upside down. (RHS connector with orange white wire 2nd slot top left)

    The new cluster should have a R as the first letter of the 2 letter prefix.

    plugs are fine will check fuses as the scan tools i have tried wont start up so maby some fuses are blowen but every thing was working except the trip com screens had bled that is why i swaped

    im thinking my bcm might be playing up might have to change it but holden siad there are only two exc bcms left (new) in the country

    fun of owning a vr lol

    would my car being non srs and the donor calais being srs be a prob?

    Short answer is no :)

    Swap it back and see if you still have that problem, if not then it means you have a faulty cluster.
