howdy ppl,

i have been having problems with my transmission oil hose, it keeps falling off and losing the clamp from the oil cooler so about once a week my vk decides to dump all its transmission fluid mainly when i am going uphill grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... anyway i keep filling it back up with atf but now im having issues... when i drive it and it gets to about 40 kmh it starts to shudder really bad to the point where it feels like the transmission is going to blow then i back it off and its ok...just... i know the servo bands need a tighten and i need a new flexplate cover. when i brake too i can hear a scraping sound underneath. Also a few months ago i towed a friends vl and now it makes a loud banging sound when i rev it but it seems to idle ok so could that be the exhaust gasket or something? i cant find any holes... anyways any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Dave

oh yeah its a auto

Take it to a tranny specialist. They will sort it out and give it a service for you too. Cheers.
