Need help with rear main seal On SSV 6l it’s been replaced 4 times and leaks more oil

The crank either has a nick in it or there's a big groove. The plate needs to removed and some 180g emery needs to be run on the crank flange.

The alignment tool is only there to keep the seal lip from fliping on the gen 4.

The bolts have plastic shank things on them they need to be in the plate then you torque the sump bolts and plate bolts in stages. I use my wrist torque wrench but maybe 5nm on all then 10 then 15 then 20. I think 20 is final spec for the plate and 15 for the sump.

Checked the PCV system isn't blocked causing the crankcase to pressurise?

very common problem .. and reason for the rear seal to leak

Thanks everyone looks like the plate wasn’t replaced just the gasket
So new plate purchased let’s seek what happens

I believe I had a blockage in the PCV valve so that has now been replaced also
