Ok so i have done the v8 conversion and all went well. went for her first fire, got spark, primed fuel, everything was going well. Went to start her and she cranked but didnt fire. Re done plugs, injectors looked at fuel pump, rails, injectors and ECM. Still no fuel getting into the chambers. Replaced rotor on dizzy, still nothing. replaced injectors again and still nothing. I have come to a dead end, either there is a ground somewhere and it isnt grounded or the hall effect sensor? Im not sure, any help is help, cheers guys!

what's the new engine out of, and what loom are you using? have you exhausted all computer/security possibilities?
i broke the hall effect on my engine, bought a new one from jaycar and drilled out the old rivets and put the new one in, but the problem with why mine wouldn't fire was mostly that the vs loom i had didn't match the vp body loom. the pins near the computer weren't paired up.

hey mate i have the same problem except after the conversion mine ran for about 3months then one morning just didnt start, after a few test i found im getting spark, fuel up to the rails but not into chambers. apparently the hall effect senser also controls the injecter pulse so i tested my injecters and funny enough no pulse, i would guess yours would be doing the same thing? so im 99% sure its the hall effect senser. hope that helps.
