Have just purchased a VT SS 5.7L, STOCK AS....A X-Force twin 2.5" cat back exhaust system with new headers amd Hi-Flow Cats gets fitted next week.

I want to know what else is the to do to get more power without spending big bucks?

    any ideas would be great

    Cheers

Well cleaning out your plenum will give it a bit more go cause usually they are filthy as, all you need is some carby cleaner and elbow grease

I hear a mafless tune is the way to go. I wouldn't mind one myself but can't afford it, but it is much less than $5000. Around a grand I think, I'm not too cluey on these things.

Best thing is to ditch the xforce. They are ****. Pacemaker or difillipo are good brands. 5k will get an exhaust mafless OTR and diff gears.
