I have a ve commodore n I need help on how to remove the drivers side key door lock can anyone help me on how to remove it please ive tried gogle but cant seem to found it on there any help would be highly appericated

I have never done a ve but I have done a lot of others up to and including vz.

Need to remove the inner door trim to gain access.
Once you can see inside the door the rest should be easy.
They usually have a rod attached which will have to be removed then they are usually held in place by a spring plate type clip.
These clips usually have a lip on them and I use pliers or side cutters to pull the clip off.

Ve is simple open the door. Once open on the side of the frame is a grommet, remove this and there is an 7 or 8mm bolt undo this and the barrel assembly will be loose. Start pulling it out from the door then unclip the rod from the back
