need help

    I just had the exhust done on my car. Extractors and a 2 and a half exhust installed been going well. Now all of a sudden all my waring lights come on ... trac off , power train , airbag , abs ,whats going on ??? They come on for about 5 min then turn off then come on again about 15 min later. i put a high flow air cleaner in it aswell never had a prob with the car till i made these mods can any one please help....

    what did you do with the air temp sensor and the air flow sensor when you installed the hi-flo CAI?

    can you post a pic of the air cleaner setup for us

    were there sensors on the standard air cleaner and did you remove them?


    ahh ok. did he remove any of the sensors? make sure their still plugged in

    all i did is unsrewed the intake lid replaced the air filter with a k&s filter then screwed the lid back on

    take another look at the air box... there should be a small black sensor on the side of it. Check that it is plugged in correctly.

    Also check all connections arrount the extractors to make sure he hasnt bumped any wire connections

    i'll have a look at it and see what i can find might take the car back to the machanic and get him to look at it again

    although dont know if i should trust him when he fitted the extractos he fergot to tighten my steering rack up what a tool

    yep judging by those symptoms (car still starts) itd be a sensor playing up

    as far as i can remember theres also a sensor on the standard headers. maybe when he installed the extractors he left it out

    i just had a look and all the wireing is all conected cant see te sensors on the extracters there under the car

    i just disconested the battery for half an hour and it started alright and the warning lights wernt on what but whos to say they wont come on again tomorrow

    This is usually a sign that there is a problem with the ABS module. It happens a lot. Do a search and you will find lots of posts about it. Does the oil light come on as well?
