    hi all
i tried searching, but 'key' was too short and i got no replies
if anyone can direct me, that would be great

basically, i have a wreak car, but i had problems getting the key lock out of the ignition
i turned it so many times, the key bent

so i took a hammer to it, and guess what?
i mashed the teeth on it
    so key doesn't work anymore
and i need to be able to move the wreck

is it possible to get a key remade from holden, and whats involved and $$?

    or am i fcuked?
    cheers

Holden would charge you a fortune. Call around a few locksmiths and see what they are charging.

if the key is still able to be duplicated, you say mashed up,$25.00 to have another key cut,if it's to badly damaged to be able to duplicate, you can either call a mobile lock smith to code a new key for you,at a hefty price,or you can take ignition barrel to them and get it cut for around $50.00, this is allowing for labour, as they have to do a fair bit of mucking about,if ignition barrel is k-nackered,your looking at $80.00-$120.00... for new barrel(complete)
    PS thats Tassies prices
