need some advice

    hey all been searching thru these forums a fair bit...used to have a series 2 vt acclaim b4 it got smashed by some idiot on the highway...anyways im looking at buying a vz ute...theres 1 for sale near me..black fully stock (executive base model)..6spd 3.6L...has 60,000 on the clock and is plated 07 but is a MY06..wondering if the k's is a bit high for the age or would be an alright buy...hes got 17,900 on it..id give him nothing over 17 i dont think...advice and comments appreciated

    i wouldnt worry about the km's, thats nothing for them, id offer him 16-16-500, you will love the 6-speed, has plenty of go in it

    another thing is its got a p plate on it in the pics lol..bit daunting...but yer cheers im specifically looking for the 6 spd..the vt had an auto 4 and if it didnt get writen off i had plans to drop an lsd and 5 spd box in it..cant stand autos lol

    really check out the clutch then, they dont like taking abuse much, when one dies on you when you buy one, replace it with a single-mass flywheel from an aftermarket company

    wouldnt worry about the car been thrashed then, been 18 in a manual ute, im sure you will give it a good flogging anyways:thumbsup:

    haha nah mate..im not spending 17+grand on a car to flog the shyte outta it..buying it to mod up and make it look sexy haha...plus dont like paying for new tyres every couple months..thats wat the vt was for cus it was my first..been and gone thru the burnouts stage:p
