Need some info for my VK Exec

Hi there, my younger brother bought a VK from our step nephew a couple of months back, but he has since given it to me, and me being new to Holden (I used to drive a XW and EA Ford Falcon), I was just wondering, how do I go about making the window washers and power steering work?
It's driving me bananas!
One other thing, the boot release doesn't work in the damn thing!

hey, yeah with the boot release you have to open the boot, on the underside of the lid there is a little silver release, if you take that off then take it apart, clean it all and when you put it back on slide it back on the screws so there is a little more tension on the cable it should work, as for the window washers, does the pump work and nothing comes out? check the wires going into the pump aswell as fuses ect.
