My VN SS 2008 Commie has a perished back door window weather seal. I need some advise on how to replace and what are the specs. of the seals...like what kind do I use?

The seals are vehicle specific for the big ring type seals that go all the way around the door (but it looks like you can but it in roll form and glue the ends together or something), either Holden, Rare Spares (expensive as fuark last time I looked and their quality has apparently dropped depending on who you ask) or if you can find anybody wrecking a VN-VS that has reasonable condition seals. Possibly try eBay, maybe see if somebody has started getting them direct from China.

Hi, external door window seals known as door belts are unfortunately
unobtainable for VN to VS ☹️
I have tried to find them for several years and have bought some from wreckers that are basically useless.
Any that you get from wreckers have the rubbers that have gone rock hard and just jam the windows when you try to wind them up/down.
The only possible solution is to try to
reglue new flocked rubber strips.
I plan to experiment with bailey channel rubber to refurb the old doorbelts.
Cheers.
