    Hi all,

I am helping a mate fit up VS V8 running gear into a EH. All is fine but we needed to fit a aftermarket gear shift sender so that the auto gear positions light up on the custom console as the stock selector sender is now gone.
I have to fit in the safety switch set up and looking at the stock sender on the selector it has 4 wires. I am guessing that it is for both the park/neutral safety cut out and the reversing lights. Is this correct? Which wires are which?

Have I got it all wrong and is there already a safety switch in the ECU, the aftermarket sender unit I am using has outputs to use a relay to do this but if it's already there then all good.
    Thanks

    MG
