vs commodore
My commodore has the stanndard chaser type rims, with 205/65 15 tyres, and I always run them at 32 PSI.It might give a bit rougher ride, but you get better tyre life and fuel economy. The car handles a bit better too. Most manufacturers recommend increasing the recommended presures for high speed driving or heavy loads or rough unsealed roads.
The VS workshop manual says-(for standard size rims obviously)
Up to 3 passengers (cold) 200 kPa or 29 PSI.
Fully loaded (cold) 240 kPa or 35 PSI
It says to increase the tyre pressures by 30 kPa or 4 PSI when operating at high speed at maximum load or when on unsealed or rough roads etc.
It says to increase the pressures by 40 kPa or 6 PSI at maximum load or high speed etc for statesman models.
It also says a tyre is considered cold if its travelled less than 5 KM.
