I had the Falken 452's on mine on the last set. They were pretty good, a nice looking tyre with good grip etc. They were cheaper at the time than the standard bridgestones by about $150 per tyre. I think they are well worth looking into.

The maxxis seem to get a good review on commodores... theyre a chinese tyre if I understand it correctly, but they are the pick of the chinese bunch. Falkens are japanese i think.

I havent seen that blurb for some time! Mind you, I hate ads...

I got 26000km on my falkens.. but ... err.. the rears were showing a bit of canvas on the sides when they.. err.. needed replacement! fronts were good though! :)

LOL well I did have a wear indicator... but it was nothing on the tyre!!!

It wasnt my fault we had no rain here for ages! The car always had plenty of rear grip!

I put the rear tyre wear to towing a boat lots... others would disagree!

lol yes I have a towbar.. and boat... and the towbar has helped me in a couple of rear enders too...

I also have some fantastic roads with corners where I've carved out my own groove... but that has nothing to do with it!!
