In theory it should not matter as the centre bore/bush in the drive shaft should centre the whole assembly, the rubber part is only transmitting the power.

In theory it should not matter as the centre bore/bush in the drive shaft should centre the whole assembly, the rubber part is only transmitting the power.

Just means the ends are pinned, have 6 lots of clearance in the crush tubes each end to get off center and vibrate further in.
