i bought myself an alpine cda-9831 which is sick, but before i installed it i had a pioneer 2550 and the cradle for the pioneer was bigger then the alpines, so there is about 4 millimeters of gap on the top, is there anything you can buy to fill that gap? i have some some black plastic you can buy that you put it where you want it and heat it up and it will stick??

i don't want to park my car in a carpark with an $800 deck that easy to remove.

any ideas will be a great help.

cheers

Did you get the plastic surround that most alpines have?

Either way they are still all going to be easy to remove unless they are glued in..

Congrats on the new deck Scott. From memory you had a pretty phat sounding system before, must be awesome now.

See ya on the next cruise.
