    Hi guys I got some new Advance Headers fitted today at a shop and I noticed when I accelerate it makes a strange hissing or whistling sound.
    Not sure what it is, but it definitely wasn't there before when I had the stock manifold on.
    I'm just freaking out that they did a dodgy job or something. Can anyone help ease my mind?

    Leaky gasket probably, caused by loose nuts. Or warped headers, caused by not doing the nuts/studs up in sequence maybe.

    Probably wouldn't hurt just to check the nuts yourself, in case any are loose, just to make sure none of them come off in the mean time.

    Well he's told me too come back in 500km to check that everything is tight, so it sounds like it may have been too hot yesterday and they wanted to get the job done.

    Did you get cats aswell?

    It could just be the sound of gases which you couldnt hear before through the cast headers.
