Check the intake piping ect to the throttle body airbox, they might not have done it up tight...check the brake booster hose isnt loose and check for other items they may have removed to get to the extractors..
hissing/whistles are normally air leak related....

Don't touch it.....Live with it until you see 'em on Monday.
If you go mucking around with it, more than likely they won't want to touch it after you or someone else did.

Yep I'm not touching it. I had a mate listen for it under the hood as I pushed the accelerator and he heard it.
Sounds like it's coming from the passenger side.

I get alot of hissing from my front end under the bonnet on the passenger side but thats just the amount of air the intake is sucking,

I have a ss CAI so its quite loud and can be heard inside the car.

Definitely take it back. Could be gunk left on the headers when they attached the new, could be loose bolts. Crappy gasket.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get down to the shop today. To busy organising my 21st. He wouldn't have time to work on it today, only to have a look at it.

Extractors change the intake noise quite significantly, unless it's leaking down where the Y pipe mees the extractors, it won't be a hissing noise. If it's on the passenger side, then it's most likely intake noise, you will probably notice a bit of a hiss when the engine is turned off too.

If it's a extractor leak at the head it will be more of a chuffing noise than a constant hiss.

yeah I only asked about if it was stainless because I was like "what is that noise"
went back and he said "its just the sound it makes" could hear an air sound even inside the cabin.

if it is just the air and sound of the extractors you do eventually get used to it.

NAAF is right though. I keep thinking theres something wrong if I have the bonnet open, but its just the sound they make.

could you just get a bit of soapy water and look for bubbles when its cold to see for leaks?

Got it looked at today. Seems to be fine. Could just be because they're new.
He'll check it in about 500km's.
