Hi all
I have owned my 2015 sv6 since new and love it.
Just learned that it has a safety feature i didn't know about.
Driving this morning early it showed 6 deg on mylink screen then dropped to 2 deg heading in to a low lying area and a warning came up on the dic.
Possible ice drive carefully.
How good is that still learning about the car after 4 years :)

I have seen this message once and 10 mins later I was teeing off for golf into the fog.
Needless to say it’s fucki*g hard to find your golf ball in thick fog lol

I can find the ball just fine, but my clubs seem to have a lot of trouble...

I used to do the Bathurst to Katoomba drive daily for many years. Black ice was often a risk early on winter mornings. I don't miss it!

Dose the car actually change any settings like dulling down the throttle response, making traction control stronger or is it just a message on the dash??

I didn't notice any difference in the car but it was on freeway sitting on 110 klms so it was only idling

Yer I thought it was only a message on the dash.

Holden and GM have really dropped the ball in the technology department.

You can get just about any Mazda or Ford (I know I feel dirty saying it as well) with Adaptive cruise control, Active plane keep (where it steers you back into your line) and sh*t loads more.

I was driving a ranger wildtrak and the outside temperature dropped down to about 3 degrees and the car was completely different to drive.
