Sounds like a bloody stupid idea. As much as I'd like a set, I wouldn't like the attention that would come from them. Any driver with H plates would lose all credibility instantly, from both police and a magistrates' court.

Btw, these "H Plates" would be so stupid, Cops would pull u over every second, people on the roads would think ur a wanker(and prolly not let u merge!) And it would be against the law anyways, because it would be descrimination. Having people display that they are "Hoons" would be like making people wear tattoos on thier heads saying they were Thieves. (altough that would be mad at least ull know what company ur in.) So... id say 99% ur friend is lying :flame:, or just has his facts wrong. Witchever.

Here in QLD they dont crush the car, they sell it and put the funds into "consolidated revenue". Im pretty sure that would be the same in all states.
