Hey guys

I'm having a new problems with my darling LS1

Ok first up

It started at a miss now I only have cylinders 2,3,5 and 7
I have checked the obvious like coils leads and loom...
maybe something like Head gaskets? I can't see
4 injectors failing within 1/2 hour!

Yet I don't think I should rule them out!

Also what makes me think its a head gasket is I have a
Stealthy coolant leak! It's not going into my oil and its not on the floor
So it's making me think its leaking to to my cylinders?

Now also I haven't checked the torque of the head studs
Because I have only had maybe 30min of run time!
Do you think the heads could have loosened enough to
Allow the gaskets to **** themselves

The engine is still waiting for a tune as I did my first ls1 head and
Cam job!

It's going to hi torque soon but I would like to get it nearly finished before they
Get to it as hi torque is a 2000km drive!!! Not fun with a trailer and a stale humoured
Father lol

Just lookin for some ideas as I'm sitting in the airport miles from home
Contemplating lol

Also
Apart from the block sump rods pistons injectors and manifold everything is new!

So WTF guys lol

What's the deal

‎237/242 [email protected] Cam,
stainless 4-into-1's,
ported heads,
double row timing chain,
melling HV oil pump,
comp 1.72 ultra gold roller rockers
OTRCAI,
dual valve springs,
titanium retainers,
comp 7.4 H/D push rods,
victor reinz head gaskets,
lunati H/D LS7 lifters,
felpro gaskets,
ported throttle body
and other ****....

Regards
Simon

at a gues i'd say it's the spark plugs since you've been running it without a tune. not the best idea.

Did you use new head bolts, or the old ones? Or do you have ARP studs and nuts?? Do you know what you are doing??

Are you testing your cooling system with a pressure tester, or just noticing coolant missing when you check it after running? You've only had it running 30 minutes so im not sure how much coolant you've lost?
