was just thinkin about it as im unemployed at the moment how does everyone cope when they move into a new job. what things do you think about, for example no one likes that guy do i talk to him lol stuff like that how do you work out if your boss is gonna be an asshole or his alright lol just wondering how everyone deals with there new job
when i went into a new shop for work, i didnt know anyone. although the boss/owner told me who was a dick and who wasnt. But ya just talk to them all as ya mates... and take ya pick from there. and it all depends on the field of work you go into aswell.
on my first day i get to know people ask them questions about the job to show that im keen to learn. if anyone gives me any crap i sort it out on the first day. i come to work do my job and go home nothing worse than working in a negative invironment. im not sayen i come to work with a attitude but i think its best to sort out any problems before they get worse.
Dont worry about anyone else. Your there to do a job. Doesn't matter if your boss is an asshole or not. Or if your friends with others. But by working you start talking to people and make friends easily. But that can change, like this one guy at my work who presses yes to "Signature OK" when i'm selling something on credit cards because he wants the POS to sell something. I was doing like a sale over $1k and he pressed yes when the lady hadn't signed yet and i hadn't checked the card. Next time he does that to me i'm gonna just drop him in front of the customer. I dont give a ****, he's doing it under my name and i'm the one who'll get in **** for it if it's a fake or someone else!
lol it reminds me of the time i used to work in a abittoir. the amount of ruff weird people you get in there is unbeleveable. one of the blokes was giving me a hard time there so i got the fire hose onto him
thanks guys all great replys just wondering because i went to see the guy today and ill be working there for a month ova the holidays to earn some cash while i look for an apprenticeship
I go in, learn the job to my full potential, i don't fart ass around, and i respect my workmates and most of all, my employer / bosses etc. That's how i deal with a new job. Haven't done it in ages as i have been in my fulltime position for well over 3 years now.
i just go there do my work and go home cant stand people who have to tell you there life stories and what problems they have with other people
Its like prison, minus the anal raping (unless your co-workers swing that way). Go in, be a prat, take down the big dog of the yard and act superior to your fellow man.
anyone eva done an aptitude test before lol i hate tests just wondering if anyone was an apprentice on here and went with a group training scheme like PEER VEET or somethin.
electrical im doing a practise one now it doesnt seem to hard just need to like get my head around some of the maths cause i havent done it in a while and im an idiot lol
yes done that exact thing, all it is, is a test they they give you like 10 minutes to answer as many questions as you can, on different subjects, basically just sussing ot how smart you are and how mechanically and problem solving you are
