Gday all. First post here.

Just purchased a series ii acclaim wagon. Previous ride was a hyundai excel.
I've noticed there's a slight difference in the way they handle, the power, the parking capabilities and the cargo capacity. Oh and it's slightly nicer to drive. (the excel was a trusty ride, but it's definitely time to upgrade).

Looking forward to future banter and flamings from you all.
Happy Clem.

Come on, the excel managed okay on 4wd tracks.
Awesome little cars, and a brand I'd buy again, but geez, it was definitely time for an upgrade.

Lol I've always thought of the excels as junk but that's just me. In saying that though Hyundai has come a long way with build quality which isn't really all that surprising given what the South Koreans are capable of.

Equinox LTZ - runs on cocaine
I have a Hyundai Getz as a work car. I didn't choose it, all our fleet cars are Getz's for economy and ideal to run around the city.

Big difference getting into a Commodore out of work hours, and something I look forward to.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I am sure you will fit in here like a glove.

We've got Cruze's for our work pool cars. Can't stand driving it. Everything about it, I hate. Previous cars were Lancers and they were a fun drive.
The Cruze always made me wish I was in my excel!

Feel like I can say this here as it's a commodore site - not a holden site.
Yep, flame suit on! (and thanks for the welcome!)
