Hey Guys,

Had a coolant problem with my car last week, turns out the side tank on radiator has blown and I need a full Radiator replacement. The Mechanic has quoted me 270 for the radiator and 350 total to be fitted.

Since its the side tank, does anyone know:

- Do I need just the radiator? or the full kit?

I checked out Ebay and I know ebay has some quality and non-quality stuff on there, and found a few cheap ones. Should I just go with the safe bet of the mechanic OR should I buy the Radiator from Ebay?

varies
Price for radiator seems pretty standard, but the labour is a bit expensive....

Buy a service manual for your car, and do the change yourself.
Very cheap, very easy to do...

You Can always just buy the radiator then pay someone to fit it. I do the same thing tyres, buy them in sydney, Ship them, then a tyre place to fit them, i save about $200 for 4 tyres and have 3 places employed for work lol
