Hi all, my friend hit a gutter and now my rims have to be sent away to get fixed but if they cant get fixed I was thinking of getting a new set of rims What type of rims should/would look good on my car?
are those the rims in the pic that are getting fixed?? how badly are they damaged?? you can pick up a set of VT SS in good nick with tyres for around 400-600 or just buy the rims for around 300ish and use your old tyres or if your lucky, depending how many rims your mate damaged, $50-$90 per rim second hand VT SS look good
yeh there have been sent away to get re rolled , but the mechanic says he doesnt know if the re-rolling joint will be able to fix them yet so yeh sorta damage on 2 rims
So it wasn't a set of VT SS rims that got wrecked? Whats with the pics... was that a suggestion for new rims?
the pictures you have shown us contradict themselves. the damaged rims are 4 stud. hence will not fit a commodore.
pfft. theyre sick v8 supercar centerlockers haydz.. the 4 holes are to let the caliper breath.. duh..
lol i didnt take any pics of MY recked rims as its at the mechanics duh! , but yeh thats the type of damage i got told by the mechanic over the phone
