    Hello all,

I have a VX Equipe with 69,000km on the clock. The ride has become a bit floaty of late, and in doing the bounce test the car does wobble about laterally as it settles (settles in about 2 bounces though)

Time for new shocks? As a personal challenge am looking at replacing them myself when this uni semester is over with....(2.5 weeks). I reckon they would be the car's original shocks.

Next question - what shocks to get? I am not a performance driver; I was going to start shopping around tomorrow (for a set of 4), was thinking of getting genuine holden OEM ones if they weren't too dear. After this I'll pop out and see if anything is leaking.

Standard shocks are fine but I went with KYB for around the same price and they are supposed to be a little better.

KYB Exel shocks. Just put them in daughters VZ, and ride far better than Monroes IMHO.
