Thanks for the replies guys.
I just have the stock rims on so 245/45 R18.

I heard about these Maxxis ZA1's from someone else and didnt really trust them as I had never heard of the brand. Like Calais57 I do a lot of KM's so a noise tyre would drive me mental.

Has anyone bothered with something like a Pirelli P-Zero?
I got a quote today for Potenza RE050A's at $350 each so thinking I might just replace them with those, i've been pretty happy with them so far.

P-Zero's are generally even more expensive than the Potenzas, so from what you've said, they'd be out of the question.
$350 ea for the Potenzas sounds much more reasonable...... but they're still overpriced IMO. :p

Yeh true, looking to save money rather than spend more. Just one of the tyre places I went to practially insisted that P-Zeros were the way to go, which they may but im sure I can get the same performance for a lot less money.
The Potenzas are still expensive at $350, im going to a place tomorrow near work that is a Kumho dealer to get a price on KU-31s so if they are cheaper than Potenzas ill get those.
Just way too many choices...

Anyone else think it is strange that the full size spare costs $350 when you order a new SS or SV6 yet the tyres alone cost more than this retail :)

I've got P-zero Rossos on the front and
Kenda Kaisers on the back in 245-45-18
the Kendas were 270 bucks
and seem fine .

the Potenza RE050A are about $400 each fitted, or $430 for the HSV spec tyres....... $1,600 for a set of tyres.... for an extra $200 you can get a set of 20's with tyres.....
